I finally got so tired of spam that I installed reCAPTCHA. It was getting to the point where my daily in-box looked more like an online store for sex toys and enhancement drugs. The day before I installed this plugin I had nearly 100 spam mails. Today I had none. Thank you reCAPTCHA. If you would like to download this plugin for your own blog it is available here.
