I finally got so tired of spam that I installed reCAPTCHA. It was getting to the point where my daily in-box looked more like an online store for sex toys and enhancement drugs. The day before I installed this plugin I had nearly 100 spam mails. Today I had none. Thank you reCAPTCHA. If you would like to download this plugin for your own blog it is available here.

Just a week after the GREAitW contest was over a funny thing happened. This site which usually had rankings back on page 7 and 8 of Google suddenly jumped up to page one.  I can understand jumping up a page or two in rank after the competition but from page seven to page one in less than 5 days? An awfully large number of people must have pulled all their links off their sites overnight for this to have happened, either that or their was a Google update and G decided it really liked this site?
